We are frequent visitors to Ireland using the Fishguard - Rosslaire Ferry. This is the second time we have stayed in the hotel before we travel to on Galway to visit our son and family. The sign posting to the hotel was clear and hotel easy to find and car parks adjacent to it. The hotel's reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The festive decorations and whole Christmas ambience impressive throughout all of the public guest areas. Every member of the hotel staff we encountered always had a smile and friendly acknowledgement. Our bedroom was spacious and comfortably furnished. We had an excellent breakfast and the dinner during our stay. The choice of menu was excellent and the quality of food superb. The front of house staff were very pleasant and efficient. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others and will definitely return on further visits to Ireland.

The staff were amazing especially Sylvia on reception who offered to come and get us when we had car problems and didn't think we would make it in our car. We arrived after 7 hours getting from dublin to wexford to the warmest and kindest welcome from Sylvia. We had to pay and stay for an extra night as my car had to get towed on sat and we had noway to get home until we could organise a rental car for this morning and another lady at reception ( sorry I never caught her name) was so lovely yesterday and today ( monday) helping us. Staff members are a huge credit to the hotel.

Everywhere was very clean and even saw people cleaning around the outside of the property on a couple of occasions. Had booked a room with a sea view which we expected to be a normal window but was allocated room 530 which has a viewing / seating area that protrudes out given fantastic 180 degree views. Could have spent all day just sat on the comfy sofa looking out. All the staff we encountered were very friendly, efficient and helpful. We ate in the restaurant one night which was very good as were the breakfasts. Very good location to walk into town and the harbour.

The hotel was a good location easy to walk to local pubs etc … The food was delicious the feather blade beef was so nice highly recommended a the chicken fajitas where delicious to . Breakfast was good only thing we booked 10:15 and a lot was food was gone but on request we got some more except the pastries .. we went when the snow hit so the lounge/ bar / hotel reception where quit cold due to the location I presume right at the seafront We had to wear jumpers in the lobby lounge .. but the bedrooms where warm and comfy
